Why Us?
If you're looking for a church, why choose us?
It can be difficult to choose a new church. Perhaps you've just moved into Harlow and are looking for somewhere to worship that feels like home. Perhaps you've never been to church before, but are feeling that you'd like to give it a try. Or perhaps you're thinking about getting married, or having a child christened, and are wondering whether you'd be welcome.
Both our churches are vibrant communities of people who are doing our best to follow Jesus in our everyday lives. We believe that God is loving, and kind, and wants to know the people he's made (that includes you, of course)! We meet every week in our two buildings to worship God with songs, to learn more about him by reading the Bible and listening to teaching, and to talk to him in prayer. We also enjoy spending time with each other, too, and there are normally tea, coffee, and biscuits after each service. We'd love to welcome you at either St Paul's or St Mary's.
Sometimes people worry about going somewhere new, so we do our best to help you feel at home. If you have children, they are welcome to join in with the kids groups which happen most weeks at both churches, or to join in with the activities in our monthly All Together services. They're also welcome to stay in the church with their grown-ups if they'd rather do that - and don't worry if they make noise or want to move about! We have plenty of kids at both churches, and we want them to feel part of the community too.
